I purchased my 1969 Dodge Charger R/T Special Edition in 1999. The car was in good condition, but being untouched and unmodified the previous 30 years, she had more than begun to show her wear and age.
Given her special history as a matching numbers, build-sheet car with a unique previous owner (John Schneider, who was partly responsible for the 1969 Chargers cultural fame in his role as Bo Duke) I wanted to restore the car to her original show room glory.
I researched custom automotive shops for years in search of the right partner to work with on this significant undertaking. After moving to Nashville a mutual friend introduced me to Kirby and I knew at that moment I had found the right guy and perfect shop to take care of my investment.
Kirby and the entire team treated my Charger and myself with incredible respect and care. His depth of knowledge, particularly regarding anything MOPAR, and incredible attention to detail gave me great confidence that every step would be done right and the results bore that out.
Team Witt Customs’ high standard for the quality of work was matched at every step with a tireless attention to process and customer service. At each stage of the renovation Kirby carefully walked me through recommendations and options allowing me to track the budget and timeline. Unlike many shops I have dealt with in the past, Team Witt Customs treated my project as if it were their own, never cutting corners and always over-delivering.
I can’t recommend them highly enough and look forward to future projects together from restorations to creative customs that will continue to fill my garage with trophies.

When I was looking for a custom shop to help me with my restoration project, I became acquainted with Kirby and Jennifer Witt, owners of Team Witt Customs. I was interested in finding a shop that was small enough so that I would be a friend and valued customer instead of just a project to push out the door. I quickly realized that Kirby, the creative master in the shop, was a person who can be counted on not to cut corners and take shortcuts. Simply put, he will not compromise on having a quality product.
All of the work that is turned out by Team Witt is first class and it shows in the results we’ve seen with our Challenger. From the first time we took it out of the shop to a small local car show, the car has always commanded a lot of attention from the fans and car show judges. In the beginning, we had not really planned to build a show car that can compete at a National level, but in the end, that is how our project was transformed. I use the term our project because through the restoration process, we became a team working toward a common goal. I’m very pleased with the results and I can recommend Team Witt without reservation if you are looking for a shop that can produce a car that you can be proud of and enjoy for many years.

My 1968 Mercury Cougar was given to me by my grandfather. So, when I decided to have it restored, I wanted it done “right”. After talking with several restoration shops around, I decided on Team Witt Restorations and Customs.
From just looking at the pictures of past and current projects on the website I knew they would be the best I’d seen. I was not disappointed when I went to their shop and saw a few of the projects that were in progress. They were nice enough to come to my home and look at the car and tell me what they thought. Shortly after, I agreed to have them do the work on my car.
I can’t say enough good things about the work on this car. Pictures do not do it justice. I wanted a nice driver, so I laugh when I think that Kirby once told me it wouldn’t be a show-car, but it would be very nice. It turned out way above my expectations. The detail and quality of work are second to none in my opinion.
I also can’t say enough good things about the people at Team Witt. They took the time to explain what they were doing and why and gave me a few suggestions that really helped make this car truly amazing. After hearing many horror stories from others who have dealt with restoration nightmares, this was truly a dream come true.
Thanks Team Witt!

Anyone that has ever had any vehicle repairs or maintenance knows how hard it can be to find a shop you can be comfortable with. The experience I had with Team Witt was like no other when it came to vehicle shops. These guys know their stuff. Talking with the owner Kirby Witt you will right off the start know; they are very customer oriented and tentative to your concerns.
I am in the service business and interact with customers constantly, and I can tell you Kirby & Team Witt know what the public needs. Although it's no big secret that you should treat customers the way you would want to be treated, Team Witt has perfected that long before anyone else has caught on. I highly recommend you give Kirby a call if you are in the market for any professional vehicle services. They are what this country was built on, proud skilled craftsmanship and excellent customer service.
Thank You Team Witt!

Kirby, A big thank you to you & all your staff for helping take care of my daughter's recent collision repair. I really prefer to have auto body work done by someone I can trust than a big conglomerate multi-location business that may be ripping me off. Thank you also for the times you've looked at & helped do little things on my car mishaps. :-)
